Overview

After participating in this one-hour workshop, the participant will be able to:

• Understand the context of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Understand the concepts and needs for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Identify the aspects and impacts inherent in an Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Understand the basic elements of the ISO 45001 standard

Objective

To give participants a basic overview of the elements inherent in the ISO 45001 standard and to gain a working knowledge of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Description

This workshop is designed to give participants a basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, the need for these systems and how they pertain to their industry.  The clauses and elements of ISO 45001 will be discussed.
